David Nevue

The Highlights: David Nevue is an internationally recognized pianist, composer and recording artist. He has released seventeen albums of his original solo piano works and arrangements, including two "Album of the Year" winners; Overcome, named "Best Instrumental Piano Album of 2005" at the prestigious Lifestyle Music Awards and Winding Down awarded "Best Solo Piano Album of 2015" by One World Radio. His latest album, 2019's In the Soft Light of Grace, went to #1 on both the Amazon.com and iTunes music sales charts for his genre and entered the top 5 on Billboard's album charts. As of 2022, he has surpassed 1.6 billion spins on Pandora radio, a remarkable and uncommon feat for an independent artist. As a seasoned performer and touring artist, David has shared the stage with some of the genre's most recognized names, including David Lanz, Wayne Gratz, Peter Kater, Suzanne Ciani, Brian Crain, Robin Spielberg and others. David’s music can be heard virtually anywhere you listen to music, including Spotify, Apple Music & iTunes, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Music Choice and Pandora Radio.

For this event, David will be playing compositions from his latest album, popular favorites from previous albums, and a sampling of his unique hymns arrangements.

David is known for his melodic, peaceful piano style, and for the spiritual themes that inspire his work. In a concert setting, David shares the stories behind the songs, and as he plays his music, it's like watching a beautiful painting unfold before your eyes. His concerts are interactive and engaging. You'll smile, laugh, and come away from the concert having experienced something unique, uplifting and inspiring.

Bring your friends and family and enjoy a wonderful evening of piano music and storytelling!

This concert is a fund raising event for the music department of St. Matthias
