esprit d'Brass
A brass quintet formed in 1986
While not as well known as a string quartet, a brass quintet consists of two trumpeters, trombonist, French horn player and a tubist have been popularized by groups such as the Canadian Brass or Empire brass. The current five members bring to the stage more than a century of accumulated musical experience. They have polished a vast repertoire of music literature that ranges from 16th century Italy to 20th century Broadway.
This concert is a fund raising event for the music department of St. Matthias
